One lovely bright day, (are you ignoring my tsukkomi!?) Shota’s father called Shota over; he had an errand that he wanted him to run.
“Shota, would you please go take this basket full of picnic sandwiches to your grandfather’s house in the deep woods?”
So, Shota skipped down the road on his way to his grandpa’s house, humming Watashi Kagami. But, something was hiding and spying on innocent little Shota behind the shadows of the trees; it was the big bad wolf.
“Hmm…that little girl looks so good to eat. I shall sneak over her grandpa’s house before she gets there, eat up the old pops, and when she comes I’ll eat her up!!”
Shota arrived and entered the door.
“Hello, my dear granddaughter. Come in”
A hunter nearby heard Shota’s cry and came to see what was going on. He saw the wolf and tried to shoot it with his arrow, but the wolf began to cringe down to the floor and something came out of his mouth.
“What the hell were you thinking, eating me up!?”
It was the grandfather. He somehow managed to get out of the wolf’s stomach and chased the wolf out of the house while carrying his tsukkomi fan.
“So, I guess there wasn’t any need for me to come here”
The hunter took a bite of the sandwich and immediately fell in love with Shota and after this day, the hunter and little blue riding hood lived happily ever after. (Wait a minute! I’m a GUY!!! This isn’t supposed to happen. Hello? Are you there, narrator? HELLO!?!?!)
